How is it possible this place still exists? It's not just bad, it's terrible, it's shameful and scandalous. Bland, no effort made at presentation (not the worst part, although the wilted arugula is an affront), no flavor, nothing is Italian about this place. Oh, and the so-called veal escalope with Marsala had no veal and only Marsala in name, not a drop of alcohol, the "meat" was full of gristle, yuck, very difficult to cut and chew, it ended up in the corner of the plate. The spaghetti was watery, what a disaster. The wine sold as Italian is a joke. Of course, I don't recommend it and I certainly won't be going back.

Sir, despite your friendly manner, cooking and running a restaurant is a profession, and it's not enough to just take a hard-boiled egg out of the freezer and smother it in unbelievably acidic mayonnaise and sell it for €5. The bread was incredibly hard, the pizzas weren't bad, but even Mr. V's is better. The place is nice, but we don't come here to admire the ceiling; we have museums for that. Those of you giving good reviews are the same ones who eat three-meat tacos with extra Boursin cheese and ketchup.

We loved the food and the atmosphere. The owner kindly agreed to serve us one pizza for two and cut it so we each had half. A very thoughtful gesture that was much appreciated!

If your primary goal isn't to eat a great pizza, but simply to have a meal, then you'll be satisfied. The value for money is good. The pizzas are inexpensive, and you'll know why from the first bite. Not exceptional, but not terrible either. As for the desserts, the crème brûlée was nicely caramelized, but the custard had the texture of scrambled eggs. The chocolate fondant was very gooey, but extremely, extremely chocolatey… The atmosphere isn't particularly warm, but not unpleasant either. If you have a choice, this isn't the restaurant I would recommend. However, if you're hungry and on a tight budget like we were, you can go in!

For lunch yesterday, Sunday, I found myself at Villa Romana. My first impression: it's a restaurant frequented by regulars, as almost all the customers greeted each other, which is a good sign. Indeed, the food was very good, the selection very varied, and the service impeccable. The prices are very reasonable (especially the set menu for €21, which included ribeye steak and a glass of wine).

This restaurant should be shut down by the health department! We ordered balsamic vinegar, and they served us a bottle full of dust and… pigeon feathers! It's unacceptable. When we pointed it out to the manager, he started dusting it off with his hand over our table and our food, explaining that "it's just because it was outside." No, sir, that bottle was stored on a rooftop! The waiters are the same ones who cook; they come out of the kitchen dirty and disheveled, wearing hairnets, and don't speak a word of French. We paid for what was already on our table and left, canceling our next order. Avoid this place; it's shameful and filthy.

I liked the food there very much. It took a while to get serviced. Very good pizzeria for lunch for a very good price I would come back to.
